AERGO, an open-source hybrid blockchain smart contract platform for decentralized applications, appointed 3 new executives: Hochul Seok as Director and Chief Information Security Officer, Won Kim as Chief Technology Officer, and Jae Nam as Chief Marketing Officer.
Hochul Seok is responsible for blockchain application development and blockchain network operation and security at Blocko and AERGO. He has about 17 years of experience in web services and blockchain development and operation, including 6 years at Blocko.
With 15 years of tech experience, including 9 years at Blocko, Won Kim earns the CTO title as the company continues to innovate and identify the most exciting blockchain opportunities. Won Kim is also the co-founder, CEO, and CTO of Blocko. Won Kim will focus on the technological innovation of AERGO.
Jae Nam boasts more than 8 years of experience and most recently served as COO at AERGO. In her new role, she will further develop the company’s marketing as it looks to scale.
Other key personnel changes across AERGO:
Bernardo Ramos, previously in charge of developing the LiteTree, a blazing-fast and branchable database engine, became the Lead Developer at AERGO with 25 years of software development and relational database management experience.
Han Kim, previously a marketing and business manager at Blocko, is now the head of Business Development at AERGO. He will be to take a hybrid business development and marketing role to promote new businesses.
