Overview

Live & Earn

BOOOST is a Web3 Live & Earn lifestyle app that pushes the boundaries of “to-earn” models.

What is Live & Earn? We aspire to be the first to create a Web3 ecosystem that would seamlessly integrate with your day-to-day activities.

At the Open Beta Phase, users are able to perform a number of activities to earn in-game tokens, which can be used within the ecosystem or cashed out for profit. These activities currently include Walking and Driving (incl. cycling, taking a taxi or public transportation) and will expand to other aspects of your day-to-day life in future updates (such as Socialization). The app will also double as a platform to monitor your daily activities and provide data analytics that aims to add value to your life.

Disclaimer: BOOOST is currently undergoing Closed Beta Testing Phase. The details of the Whitepaper are prepared for the Open Beta release and are subject to change.

Live & Earn with your Avatar

Avatar

Your Avatar represents the Web3 version of you. Users can level up their Avatars to unlock additional features across the BOOOST ecosystem, including but not limited to:

• Increase daily step count limit (Unlocked at Level 3 and 9)

​Walk & Earn​

We recognize the immense value of promoting a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, we implemented the Walk & Earn mode with a zero-barrier entry, immediately accessible once users have registered their Avatar.

This mode is built around the principles of convenience, seamless integration and is designed to operate in the background counting a user’s daily steps.

​Drive & Earn​

Users equipped with Vehicle NFTs can start earning BYL while Driving (currently this may also include cycling or general commuting such as taking a taxi or public transportation). They can also level up and upgrade their Vehicles.

Users without Vehicle NFTs can also participate in the Driving mode to earn raffle tickets instead of BYL. Tickets can be used to participate in BOOOST’s Raffle System where users stand a chance to win Vehicle NFTs.

Socialize & Earn

We strongly support the notion of communities being one of the core pillars of Web3 social systems. Socialize & Earn will be introduced in the future where users can earn BYL tokens by connecting with other users. Details will be announced in the future.

Walk & Earn Mechanics

Upon creating your Avatar, users will be able to earn BYL while walking.

A user’s steps are calculated and registered in the background – i.e. the app does not have to be active in order to generate earnings. Levelling up your Avatar will enable you to increase your daily earnings via Walk & Earn. In the future, users will be able to utilise the BOOOST app as a platform to keep track of walking/running sessions, set goals and share session results with friends.

To uphold the spirit of promoting healthy living and to prevent abuse of the game, BOOOST also employs a range of anti-cheat mechanics for its Walk & Earn system.

Tokenomics

BYL (Utility Token)

BYL is the utility token of BOOOST with unlimited supply. However, the ecosystem is balanced with an Earnings Difficulty mechanism that reduces BYL rewards over time, such that inflation becomes asymptotic to zero.

This mechanism is designed to reward the early adopters of BOOOST while serving as a lever to promote long-term ecosystem sustainability.

BYL Minting Mechanisms

BYL is most commonly earned by participating in Walking, Driving and Socializing modes. Users can also receive BYL as prizes when opening Gift Boxes.
