Dear AERGO Community,

This summer we hosted the first DApp contest as a means of expanding AERGO ecosystem. We are blown away by the participation of developers from all over the world. Through this opportunity, we can visualize a bright future for AERGO ahead of us. We once again immensely thank all those who participated in the first ever DApp contest.

After reviewing the mind blowing entries, we chose the winners based on the following criteria:

• Concept and originality of DApp
• Creativity
• Innovation
• Ability to attract users

5th Place: Hodl

HODL is a DApp that helps you deposit Ethereum and ERC 20 tokens for a long time. If you withdraw before the promised time, there is a -10% penalty and the fine will be delivered to the depositors as a reward. Get rewarded while protecting your Ethereum and ERC 20 tokens.

4th Place: Loany

Loany is a service that helps you diagnose loans and improve them to better conditions. Users who encounter Loany for the first time will diagnose the current loan, and if the loan conditions need to be improved, the user will be notified in an easy-to-understand manner.

3rd Place: PlusFi

User-friendly DeFi built on AERGO. Offers features such as Bridge, Staking, Swap, Lending, IDO.

2nd Place: BananaClips

Banana Clips is an online marketplace where you can sell or buy clips using web and mobile applications. Anyone with a smartphone can easily upload a video, and anyone can easily purchase it.

1st Place: Pikkle

AERGO blockchain-based electronic voting service. It has been released in the global market and its stability has been proven through the Korea Broadcasting Awards and Seoul Drama Awards.

Future Plans

Once the DApps are completely ready and tested, we will submit to Samsung Blockchain DApp Marketplace for listing.

This concludes the first successful cycle in our DApp incubation program by announcing the winners of our DApp contest. Our DApp incubation program will evolve into supporting DeFi and eSignature applications on the AERGO ecosystem. We are looking into applications such as Automated Market Maker (AMM), Decentralized Exchange(DEX), Electronic Document, and a Lending Platform.

We will be announcing an updated roadmap for supporting DeFi applications on AERGO ecosystem with a formal funding program for DeFi incubation (AERGO DeFi Incubation Funding Program) and a DeFi hub for AERGO (aka as AERGO Swap) that will serve as a primary interface for DeFi applications and a launchpad for future incubation programs. We are planning a $10,000,000 USD incubation fund, pending AGORA approval.
